There are five distinct and exciting shopping areas within South Charleston. The Mound area, Riverwalk Plaza, the Shops at Trace Fork, Southridge Center, and Spring Hill each offer a unique shopping experience.
Spring Hill
This district is home to some of our very finest gift and specialty stores. If you enjoy quaint shops where you can browse and have a conversation with locals, you’ll feel right at home here. Calvin Broyles Jewelry, Spring Hill Pastry – home of the Famous Hot Dogs, Sumthin Good Soul Food, King Kabob, Sokolata pastries, gelato, and more await your visit. While in Spring Hill be sure to visit the Harley Davidson of West Virginia, which also sports a luncheon cafe known as Harley’s Fat Bobs.
Riverwalk Plaza
This plaza hosts a T.J. Maxx, Kroger, Casa Garcia, Dollar Tree, Edible Arrangements, Krispy Kreme, Graziano’s and Sushi Garden-Sushi & Noodle all bursting with items you’ll want to have! As its name suggests, this area is located along the Kanawha River.
Southridge Centre
Includes Wal-Mart, Sam’s, Cabela’s, and Ashley Furniture, as well as other specialty shops and restaurants. Smart value and style…for less.
Trace Fork
This shopping plaza hosts Dick’s Sporting Goods, Target, PetSmart, Lowes, Home Goods and Marshalls, as well as many other shops and a variety of restaurants.
Mound Area
The Mound Area is our oldest district and is located on D Street. This area hosts several very fine antique and unique one-of-a-kind locally owned and operated shops. There are a variety of restaurants and shopping opportunities. You’ll get a level of customer service that will really make you feel welcome.
